GHRP-2

What is GHRP-2?

GHRP-2 is a synthetic agonist of ghrelin, the newly discovered gut peptide that binds to the growth hormone (GH) secretagogue receptor. Ghrelin stimulates both GH secretion and appetite initiation. Animal studies have shown its effect on food intake. When infused in healthy males, GHRP-2 increased their food intake by approximately 35.9%, and serum GH levels rose significantly during the infusion.
